More Photos of Ole Pedersen

Here are a few more photos of Ole Pedersen. The first is a colorized photo of him outside of his house in Mandan, North Dakota (date unknown). The second is of him with his daughter, Jorgine (left), and her three children: Agnes (back, right [my grandmother]), Harold (right), and Elsie (next to Ole), taken around 1910. The third is of Ole with his many grandchildren. The fourth is of Ole in approximately 1920. He is in a typical pose, reading his newspaper.

Ole's two sons, Anton and Peter, stayed in Norway. His three daughters all settled in the U.S. Jorgine Amelia Morck and Annette Marie Aagaard lived in Seattle, and Anna Kristina Schauss lived in mandan, North Dakota.

Hi Jim,
My father's family was Pedersen until they moved to America! What a small world. Of course, there probably are pages of Pedersen's in the phone book there, much like Brown is here! Lou Ann

My name is Sven Arne Ulrichsen (Born 1963 in Leka). I live in Norway. My mother (Hanna Marie Ulrichsen) was the daughter of Edvarda Amalia Olsen (b. 1905) Edvarda was the daughter of Peter Berg Olsen (born 1866) the son of Ole Benjamin Pedersen. I was very excited about the information and pictures of Ole Benjamin in your blog. I'm trying to find more information about his travel and also information about his wife Else Johansdatter. Kind regards Sven.
